Black & African-Descent Collaborative For Prostate Cancer ACtion

BACPAC is a community of patients, partners, advocates, and researchers brought together with the mission of improving prostate cancer care for Black and African-descent men through community-based research and advocacy. In the United States, Black and African-descent men are 60% more likely to develop prostate cancer and 120% more likely to die from prostate cancer. Through our research, we seek to find out why these prostate cancer disparities exist and use that knowledge to improve the health of men in our community. We hope you join our community in our efforts to end health care inequities.
